KLC Presents City of Columbia 2021 Liability Grant

Lexington, KY- The Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) presented the City of Columbia with a 2021 Liability Safety Grant. KLC Insurance Services (KLCIS) liability customers receive the money to help fund various programs and services that reduce liability and make the community safer. KLC has awarded more than $5.5 million in safety grants since 1999.

Columba Mayor Pamela Hoots thanked KLC for the funds and stressed the grant's positive impact on her community. "We appreciate the opportunity that the Kentucky League of Cities offers through the liability grant to apply for funding for our community," she said. Hoots noted that the city plans to use the funds to help procure body-worn cameras for the Columbia Police Department.
