Congratulations to the winners in the December 4, 2021 Columbia Christmas Parade, listed below.

Decorated Floats:
First place float - Pickett's Chapel Church.
Second Place - Bloomington Chapel Church.
Third Place - Columbia Church of Christ.

Non-floats:
First Place - Adair County FFA.
Second Place: Southern Nest Realty.

Out of town floats:
First Place - Russell County Jaycees.
Second Place: US All-Star Softball Champs 12U LL.

Christmas parade 2021 - First Place Float winner

The overall winning float in Saturday's Columbia Christmas parade was Pickett's Chapel Church. It was reported that they worked on it in strictest secrecy for six weeks. Many volunteered their hours, including the pastor who is a carpenter. Some of those at the line up time before the parade are pictured with their entry. Front row: Cotton Smith, Ann Smith, and Gale Cowan. Back row: Junior Brown, Marilyn Brown, Tracy Malcom, Jo Malcom, Madison Bell, Dawson Burris, Dan Burris, Betty Jo Burris, Pastor Larry Huckaby, Lisa Huckaby, Adam Coomer, and Mikie Burton.
