KSP: Suspect arrested in Cumberland Co. murder From Trooper Jonathan Houk Burkesville, KY - On September 26, 2022, at approximately 1:03 P.M. CST, Kentucky State Police (KSP), Post 15, received a call from Cumberland County 911. They requested investigative assistance regarding finding a deceased male inside a residence on Glasgow Road in Burkesville, Ky. KSP Troopers and Detectives responded to the scene and learned 53-year-old Michael Harding, of Celina, Tennessee, had suffered fatal injuries from apparent gunshot wounds. The ensuing investigation led KSP to partner with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and other local and state law enforcement agencies in Kentucky, Tennessee, and California, as the planning and execution of the crime included multiple local and state jurisdictions. Information obtained through this collective effort led to the arrest of 60-year-old Thomas O'Donnell of Napa, CA., in Sacramento, CA, on Thursday, December 8, 2022. KSP, the FBI, and local authorities arrested O'Donnell at the Sacramento International airport, charging him with the Murder of Michael Harding. Page died intestate, unmarried, and sine prole in the spring of 1926, it took years for his estate, consisting in great part of vast land holdings, to be settled among the four surviving collateral line heirs, to-wit: his brother, Dr. Lafayette Page; his sister, Mary Jane Blakeman; a niece, Elma Fraser; and a nephew, Paul Azbill. The land holdings included town lot 60, running from the exit corner of Campbellsville Street to the east corner of the square, and a part of the adjoining town lot 59, extending from the east corner to what is now called North Reed Street. Basketball: Tough night in Portsmouth for Blue Raiders Portsmouth, OH - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team lost their shooting touch against Shawnee State (Ohio), falling 63-37 on Thursday evening at Waller Gymnasium. For every push the Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team gave, the homestanding Bears of Shawnee State had an answer. Even with their hottest shooting performance in two weeks, the Blue Raiders could not overcome the physical play of their hosts en route to an 80-63 decision. The Lindsey Wilson men's team conclude the home portion of the calendar year on Saturday, December 17, 2022, when the University of Pikeville comes to Columbia for a 3pmCT start time.
