Basketball: Tough night in Portsmouth for Blue Raiders Portsmouth, OH - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team lost their shooting touch against Shawnee State (Ohio), falling 63-37 on Thursday evening at Waller Gymnasium. For every push the Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team gave, the homestanding Bears of Shawnee State had an answer. Even with their hottest shooting performance in two weeks, the Blue Raiders could not overcome the physical play of their hosts en route to an 80-63 decision. The Lindsey Wilson men's team conclude the home portion of the calendar year on Saturday, December 17, 2022, when the University of Pikeville comes to Columbia for a 3pmCT start time. The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team returns to the hardwood in Florida where they put their Mid-South play on pause to take on (RV) St. Thomas (FL) in the St. Thomas Holiday Classic on December 29 at NoonCT.
