Gov.-Elect Matt Bevin sends Happy Thanksgiving wishes

Grateful for military personnel now serving, veterans

From Gov.-elect Matt Bevin

As Thanksgiving approaches, I have so many things for which to be grateful. You see, coming from humble beginnings makes a person appreciate things that are often easy to take for granted.

I grew up out in the country in a financially humble home, but I was blessed with an abundance of the things that matter most. It was a simple life, but a good one that taught me the importance of honesty and hard work -- A life built upon a bedrock of strong Judeo-Christian values. I am truly thankful for that foundation.
