Carol Roberts: serious sounding IRS calls are bogus Carol Roberts writes: Twice in the last seven days I have received a call from someone with a very serious-sounding female voice claiming to be calling from the IRS with a "Final Warning" about supposed unpaid taxes. I am well aware that this is a fraud and a scam so I just hang up. I plan to notify the State Attorney General and the IRS. CMS students presented "A Plump and Perky Turkey," the story of a turkey named Pete who outsmarts townsfolk looking for a Thanksgiving entree. He was the son of the late Ed & Alta Blair Taylor, and the widower of Nelda Estes Taylor.
