Writers' Day filled except for one space Saturday Fourteen writers are scheduled to read one of their works at the first Writers' Day, Saturday, April 20, 2024 beginning at 9amCT at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground St., Columbia, Ky. The day is divided into morning session and afternoon session with each artist having up to a quarter hour. From 11:30amCT - 12:30pmCT everyone will be free for a lunch break on their own. A map of local restaurants will be provided with several places to eat, all very close, plus the Farmers Market will be open on the corner of Merchant and Campbellsville Streets downtown. MORNING SESSION opens at 9amCT and will include writers: Mig Feuser, Linda Waggener, Mike Watson, Samantha Sinclair, Sandi Keaton Wilson, Kenny Scott Guffey and Chad M. Horn. AFTERNOON SESSION opens at 12:30pmCT and will include: Rick Lee, Paul Stansbury, Ruth Rodgers, Maurice Manning, Ben Arnold, Darlene Campbell and one remaining open spot.
