Larry Wallace, 70, Russell County, KY (1953-2024) Larry Wallace, of Russell Springs, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at TJ Health Hospital, in Columbia. He was 70 years of age. Born May 11, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of the late Edgar William and Margie Pauline Heath Wallace. Larry worked for many years, in Russell and surrounding counties, in termite and pest control as an exterminator. He enjoyed hunting and playing poker, but spending time with his family and friends was most important to him. Survivors include two sons, Cody Wallace, of Russell Springs and Larry Wayne (and Sandy) Wallace, of Columbia; four sisters, Carolyn (and Donnie) Burton, of Mt. Vernon, Willma Fox, of Nancy, Diana Sullivan, and Teresa Robertson, both of Russell Springs; three grandchildren, Logan Shearer, Julia Wallace, and Luke Wallace; and a sister-in-law, Opal Estelle Wallace, of Russell Springs. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Renee Shearer; and two brothers, Robert "Bobby" Wallace, and Michael Wallace. Funeral services are 10amCT Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Asa Wooten officiating. Visitation for the public will be held from 4 to 8 Monday, March 18, and will continue Tuesday morning from 8 until time of services.Burial will follow in Russell County Memorial Gardens.
