CPD: Traffic stop leads to meth arrest By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department initiated a traffic stop on Campbellsville Street this afternoon, December 5, 2023. After making contact, the driver consented to avehicle search by officers. A passenger in the vehicle was found to have paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. Sharla Vanwinkle, 39, of Albany, has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. The vehicle operator was cited on scene for traffic violations and released. Officer Trevor Foster was the arresting Officer.
