Here are a few of them: The Christmas in the Park drive-through lights display starts Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Joe Johnson Little League Park. Christmas in Knifley is Saturday, December 10, from 5-9pmCT Bloomington Chapel Church will be doing a Live Nativity at the drive-through Christmas. It will be December 9 and 10 from 5-8pmCT. ACSO: Theft investigation leads to arrest of Russell Co. woman From Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman initiated an investigation after a local business on Liberty Road reported a theft of nearly 5,000 dollars. After investigation was completed the case was submitted to the Adair Circuit Grand Jury by Sheriff Brockman. As a result of the investigation, an indictment of arrest was secured by Commonwealth Attorney Brian Wright. On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at around 2pmCT, KSP Trooper Brandon Roark traveled to Russell County and executed the warrant of arrest. Christmas in the Park starts on Thursday From Tiffany Collins The annual Christmas in the Park drive-through light show will start on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Joe Johnson Little League Park in Columbia. The event is free to the public. The show will run nightly from 5pmCT until 8pmCT, through December 28, 2022. There will be an initial lighting on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. CASA of S. Central KY: New format for New Advocate Training From Steve Jones, Advocate Development Specialist CASA of South Central KY CASA of South Central KY is excited to announce it will hold its next training session for new Advocates using a new format for training as part of its expansion into Allen, Edmonson, and Simpson counties. CASA has a new training format where of the total 30 hours training mandated by National CASA, 15 hours can be done in self-guided study and only 15 hours are in the classroom setting.
