Tammy LaFavers, 57, Russell County, KY (1964-2022) Tammy LaFavers, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Russell County Hospital. She was 57 years of age. Tammy enjoyed drawing and doing diamond painting artwork. In addition to her children, she leaves behind her best friend, Brenda Wooldridge, and her beloved cat, Blue. Spires, Jr, 89, Knifley, KY native (1932-2022) Ancil Benny "Junior B" Spires, Jr., 89, formerly of Columbia, KY died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY. He was born in Knifley, KY on August 16, 1932 to the late Ancil Harrison Spires, Sr. and Martha Mings Spires. He was preceded in death by his wife Ima Zane Coffey Carter Spires. He was a member of the Cane Valley Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in North Africa during the Korean War. He was retired from Delaval of Columbia and enjoyed fishing, socializing at Moore's Pool Room, attending church and spending time with family and friends. Drive-Thru Food Pantry at Glens Fork Church of the Nazarene From Scott Cooksey Glens Fork Church of the Nazarene holds a "drive thru" food pantry every second Tuesday of the month from 4pmCT until 5pmCT. This month's food pantry is Tuesday, June 14, 2022. You will need to remain in your vehicle and line up at the Fellowship Hall behind the church. When you pull up to the sign-in door you may exit your vehicle and sign-in and receive your pantry items. All items are on a first come basis and you can only receive one pantry bag per household.
