Hanging in the Lindsey Wilson College Katie Murrell Library is this framed Kentucky Literary Map map art. I saw how sweetly we were enabled by the land and the animals and our few simple tools...“ was by Wendell Berry, A Place on Earth. Included on the list of writers under the map are these: George Ella Lyon, Harlan County; Jesse Stuart, Greenup County; Wendell Berry, Henry County; Bobby Ann Mason, Graves County; Harriet Simpson Arnow, Wayne County; Robert Penn Warren, Todd County; Marsha Norman, Jefferson county; Barbara Kingsolver, Nicholas county; Janice Holt Giles, Adair County; and on and on for a total list of writers from 69 Kentucky Counties.
