The Adair County Board of Education recognized Trayton Stargel, winner in the Regional AARP Grandparents Essay contest, and a very, very close statewide 2nd place winner, above, receiving awards, including a $50 check from Teresa Roy, as Superintendent Alan Reed looks on. Seated in the audience are Technology Coordinator Carla Perkins, Title 1 Director John Shelley, and hidden except for blue-and-gray plaid tie and coordinated light blue jacket, is Maintenance Director David Jones.
