The scene at 6:01pmCT, tonight, September 24 as School Board Chairman Floyd Burton (Division 4) was ready to call the meeting to order. From left, Board Members Mike Harris (Division 5), Quinn Lasley (2); Superintendent Alan W. Reed; (Burton); Lisa Burton (3) and Terry Harvey (1). After a brief discussion, the board voted 3-2 to extend Superintendent Alan W. Reed's contract, with Floyd Burton, Quinn Lasley, and Mike Harris voting in favor, and Lisa Burton and Terry Harvey voting against. - LARRY SMITH, FM 92.7 the WAVE & FM 99.9 the Big Dawg.
