Phelps House at Esto: An early photo of the residence

2011-07-28 - Esto, Russell Co., KY - Photo from Collection of Nancy Phelps.
Nancy Phelps, who now resides in the historic Carl and Elizabeth Phelps house at Esto, Russell Co., KY. The house is now 136 years old. It was built in 1875 and was the home of Nancy Phelps' and her sister Mary Phelps' great grandparents, John Quincy and Nancy Jane Phelps. Nancy Phelps submitted this photo along with a story about her aunt Elizabeth Phelps after seeing a post of a picture of Elizabeth Phelps and an early Russell County Library bookmobile submitted by Larry Smith, Operations Manager of Shoreline Communications. The Phelps House is located just 14.7 miles from Downtown Columbia, KY.
