Larry Smith congratulated at CU Media Luncheon

Larry Smith the Big Man at the Big Dawg, Campbellsville, KY, is congratulated by Linda Waggener CU marketing coordinator on the enthusiastic reception he received at the Campbellsville University Media Luncheon in Campbellsville, KY. Smith was instrumental in securing a major gift of computerized radio equipment from Shoreline Communications, authorized by CEO Mike Harris, Columbia, KY, to help get WLCU 88.7 FM on the air. Larry Smith is also the voice of WHVE, the WAVE, South Central Kentucky's dominant radio station. Even with it's "short stick" tower at the old soccer field on the CU campus, the radio station has a strong signal as far away as Cumberland County.
