Students learning real-world lessons in arts management

Students in a Lindsey Wilson University arts administration class taught by theatre professor Robert Brock helped conceive the idea for the Mark Twain Storytelling Festival, which will be held June 19-20, 2026, at the university.

Now head coach, Duncan was also a standout player

Longtime assistant coach Terran Duncan has been named the fifth head coach of the Lindsey Wilson University women's basketball program. As a Lindsey Wilson player from 2004-08, Duncan scored 1,694 total points, the sixth most in program history; her 640 career rebounds are the program's ninth most.

On Jan. 9, 2007, Duncan scored her 1,000th career point in a 68-51 win over Chowan (North Carolina) University at Biggers Sports Center. Presenting her a commemorative ball was Lindsey Wilson coach John B. Wethington, whom Duncan succeeds.

Terran Duncan named LWU Women's Basketball Coach

Longtime assistant coach Terran Duncan has been named the fifth head coach of the Lindsey Wilson University women's basketball program. Duncan, who is a 2008 Lindsey Wilson graduate, spent the last 11 seasons as an assistant coach in the program. She was named the 2025-26 Women's Basketball Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year.
