Kentucky Color: Summer of 2025

Billy Joe writes, "The Summer season of '25 has certainly been a season of contrasts. Not to mention the severe difficulties our farmers are encountering with the weather but many of us homeowners were not able to mow our yards in late Spring and early Summer because of the constant rainfall. And now, the late Summer drought has caused many of us to skip several mowings for the health of our lawns.

I am so thankful that with constant watering, most of our potted plants have made life around our home a spot of pleasant respite from the dry, hot Summer."

ACHS Football Homecoming will play on new turf

Adair County High School is proud that the Homecoming Game tonight, Friday, September 19, 2025, will be played on the brand new turf that has been put down over the last few weeks. Egypt Christian Church will celebrate Homecoming at 10amCT on Sunday, September 21, 2025. The Crossroads Quartet will perform and Pastor Paul Patton will deliver the message. The service will be followed by a potluck dinner and all are welcomed.
