LCADD holds annual meeting in Russell County

The Lake Cumberland Area Development District (LCADD) held the annual meeting at Lure Lodge on the edge of Lake Cumberland Thursday night to give out service awards and celebrate another good year of service. The guest speaker was Kentucky's Agriculture Commissioner. From left are outgoing chairman, Green County Judge Executive John Frank and his wife Peggy; Brandon Reed, Kentucky Office of Agricultural Policy executive director; incoming chairman Hershell Key, Citizen Member of the ADD from Clinton County; guest speaker Jonathan Shell; and LCADD Attorney Derrick Helm.

Adair Percussionists at TCI

Adair Percussionists Samuel Peterson, Konner Dial and Haiden Johnson stand at the ready as Adair took the field for prelims at the Taylor County Invitational this past Saturday, September 27, 2025. The band received the award for Best Percussion in Class AAA.

Adair Co. Color Guard: Game Face

Color Guard member Jane Poff had her "Game Face" on for this past Saturday's Taylor County Marching Invitational. Adair placed 1st in Class AAA and also received awards for Best Color Guard and Best Percussion in their class ahead of receiving Reserve Grand Champion later in the evening.
