Students at the Crop Scouting Station

The Adair County FFA Crop Scouting Team worked hard to find answers for the judges at the Field Scouting Station during the contest, held at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center in Princeton, Kentucky, on July 24, 2025. The Adair County FFA has earned First Place in the State Crop Scouting Contest for the first time since 2020, and will represent Kentucky at the national level in Iowa this fall.

Lindsey Wilson University Director of Nursing Dr. Emiley Button said the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education Healthcare Workforce Investment Fund "will help our program to continue to educate and train nursing professionals for our area while partnering with one of our region's most important healthcare providers."

Photographer Wendy Butler Burt writes, "I don't often see Giant Swallowtails these days (many Tiger Swallowtails, Zebra Swallowtails, Spicebush Swallowtails, etc.), but today I was treated to watching one flit from zinnia to zinnia in my garden. I'm hoping that all our pollinator habitat is helping these disappearing butterflies."

The 2025 Bible School, 'Game On Victory In Jesus,' goes on for four nights through Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 6pmCT nightly.
