Veronica writes, "It was hot and sweaty working in the yard this morning. I did manage to see this dandy on the hose wheel, and I managed to pause and appreciate this guy. The Red Admiral has a great camouflage on the underside of his wings as well as brilliant patterns on top."

Adair Tourism making donations for public events

Adair County Tourism has made two investments to help with local events. Pictured with Tourism Director Paige Nickel, left, and Board Member Tina Thomas at right, is Jamie Hadley receiving a donation of $2,500 to the Adair County Fair Board for the 2024 Fair set to begin soon. Tourism also donated $3,000 to Renaissance Columbia which brings Downtown Days to Columbia in October.
