Cindy Harris is reminding everyone the clock is ticking, there's just over a couple of hours to go to the Facebook link and cast your vote for her favorite singer, husband Mark, and the Green River Band! Everyone is cheering them on to win participation in the upcoming Cumberland County festival. Click 'read more' and go the the link in the accompanying story. Votes went over 1,000 this afternoon and we want a slam dunk!

Go vote for Uncle Craig Dean and the Green River Band or else!

Two-year-old little Miss P says, "Stop right now and go to Facebook and vote for my Uncle Craig, the lead singer in the Green River Band!"

Voting closes at midnight tonight, Friday, July 19, 2024. Craig and the Green River Band members have a goal to perform at River Festivus next month but needs everyone's help by voting them tops. The top 5 bands with the most likes on Facebook will get to perform on Friday, Aug 16, 2024, in Burkesville, at the Battle of the Bands.

The winner of the Battle will then get to open up for the Marshall Tucker Band on Saturday night, August 17, 2024. Click this link facebook.com and hit the Like or the Love button on the picture of the Green River Band.

Golden Alert cancelled in Adair County

Update: Cancelled. The male was picked up in a vehicle and returned unharmed.

A Golden Alert has been issued for a 72 year old male missing from the Parrot Ave / Campbellsville Road area of Columbia, KY. Mr. Ford has grey hair, and is 160 pounds, 5 feet 8 inches tall. Please call Adair County E-911 at 270-384-6464 if you encounter this man. He has dementia, and could be combative.
