Robotic bronchoscopy system at TJSCH

The Ion robotic bronchoscopy system will enable physicians at T.J. Samson Community Hospital to perform biopsies deep within the lung's complex and tight airways using the device's thin, maneuverable catheter to navigate and reach suspicious nodules.

Volunteers of the Year: Downtown Days group

The 2024 Chamber of Commerce Volunteer Award went to a whole committee this year, the Downtown Days Committee, heading into their main season of preparation for the big event coming in October. Volunteers Jada Atwood, Gina Baker, Lindsey Breeding, Tiffany Collins, Annette Hatcher and Chasity Yarberry are pictured with Columbia Adair County Chamber President Landon Edwards, State Senator Max Wise at left, and at right State Representative Amy Neighbors and Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Ellen Zornes.
