In final preseason scrimmage against Barren

The ACHS Indians defeated Barren County 20-12 in the final preseason scrimmage of the year. Adair County will match up with Russell County in next Friday's game.

Kentucky Color: Periwinkle and Skipper

Billy Joe writes, "Our Vinca which is actually a species of Periwinkle, furnished a welcome meal for this Silver Spotted Skipper in the morning sun recently. Skippers have been described as a species that is a go between of butterflies and moths. This skipper has its proboscis sunk deeply in search of nectar and dined upon every single blossom according to my observation."
