Today we had the honor of meeting local Financial Adviser, Mr. Joe Willis from Edward Jones, who shared real investment data and how early investing can lead to becoming a millionaire. The students were engaged, respectful, and asked fantastic questions. Big thanks to Mr. Willis and our amazing principal for supporting hands-on learning and community connections. Statewide attention on plight of Adair County Sheriff

This is just one example of the expression of requests for help not being heard. The citizens of Adair County have witnessed the worst of leadership in the disrespect given to Sheriff Josh Brockman at the last Fiscal Court meeting. That was the last of the meetings where he tried to be heard, to get help for his budget, for his deputies. That was the straw that resulted in his letter of resignation. His resignation was followed by that of the County Coroner. Clicking 'read more' goes to links that glimpse state coverage and the letter he wrote.
