Malvina Farkle Day wouldn't be complete without the high-spirited rendition of the Malvina Farkle Day anthem from beloved former LWC Associate Professor of Communication Susan K. Minton.

Dr. Luckey proclaimed Wednesday as a campus-wide day of service and canceled all classes for the entire day so that students were free to participate.

Fall Web Worms at work

According to Billy Joe Fudge this is what happens to a plant when Fall Web Worms take over. They devour all the leaf while leaving the largest leaf veins. They will move on to other leaves as they need more food until the end of this cycle of their life. The good news is that plants have already made most of the starches they need to fire up the growing season next spring.
