Mystery picture names and event identified
2024-09-24 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo from personal collection.
The first to guess the event and some of the people - and become Columbia Magazine's winning mystery memory superstars of the day - are Phyllis Curry and Richard Phelps who puzzled the name of the event - the Adair County Pepper Festival - and several of the volunteers' names in the picture.
The photo was sent in by Trilby Vance from her personal keepsakes. Seated from left: Terri Cassell, Patty Brown, and Trilby Tupman Vance. Standing, Pat Blair, at left, and Mary Ann Oghia.
