LWC Singers at Homecoming Service

It felt like getting a giant hug from the Lindsey Wilson College singers around the congregation for the special Homecoming service at Columbia United Methodist Church Sunday. The service was the final event of Lindsey's Homecoming weekend activities.

Scenic Metcalfe County, KY: Patty Wade Road

The very old compares to the very new scenes heading north from Hwy 90 toward Edmonton. Before we saw the huge solar farm, we spotted this little abandoned homestead on the corner of Patty Wade Road and Randolph Road just outside of Summer Shade, KY.

Dramatic skies for a Sunday drive

Robert writes, "Was driving around the county Sunday, looking for some possible Fall color in the woods (still a little too early). I think this image came from a location in and around the Breeding area...and it was on a country road that I couldn't recall ever traveling on. A much needed break from the past few rainy days."

Road trip: Bloody Crossing

This four-way stop on Highway 90 between Marrowbone and Summer Shade is historically known as "Bloody Crossing" because of all the wrecks over the years. The sign on the way into Summer Shade points to Glasgow, straight ahead, Edmonton to the north, and Tompkinsville to the south.
