Can't wait any longer
2024-10-21 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. I've waited for someone in the Columbia Magazine family of great photographers to send a picture of that giant full moon rising Thursday evening. Since that hasn't happened I can't wait any longer to share, with apologies that it's a fuzzy phone picture, but still it shows how awesome it looked in the sky over New Columbia's Zaxby's.

Keepsake photo of Horace Walker
2024-10-19 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Fine keepsakes like this are on every wall at the Adair County Genealogy and History Center. This is a keepsake picture of Horace Walker with what looks like a fine invention. He was founder of the tin shop occupied by members of the Cole and Burton families of Adair County, shown here with a patented tobacco setter. He also patented numerous medicines and tonics.
