Lindsey Wilson College 2024 winter graduate Kylie Jackson of Columbia addresses the morning commencement audience on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Biggers Sports Center.

Jackson, a Green County High School graduate, earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Lindsey Wilson and plans to attend law school next fall.

Longtime Lindsey Wilson College Associate education professor Melissa Saunier-Arnold is flanked by two generations of former students, Beth Sneed of the Class of 2007, left, and her daughter, Callie Montgomery, who graduated Saturday.

Sneed teaches English at Russell County High School, and Montgomery will begin her teaching career at Russell Springs Elementary School. Both earned their Lindsey Wilson education degrees under Arnold's guidance.

Adair County Boys Basketball was led in scoring in their win against Bullitt East by Dawson Gilbert who was named Most Outstanding Player in the game. He had 29 points including 9 made threes and 3 rebounds.

Taylor County RECC float wins fifth place

Taylor County RECC had floats in both parades, Campbellsville and Columbia last Saturday, showcasing their work. They won fifth place among the Adair County Christmas in Columbia parade floats.
