Thelma shared it from the book 'Being Dead Is No Excuse - The Official Southern Ladies Guide to Hosting The Perfect Funeral,' by Gayden Metcalfe and Charlotte Hays. Lace cookies are delicate, delicious and beautiful. They're not difficult. It just takes a bit longer because the dough spreads, so you get only a few per baking sheet. The recipe follows.
