Basketball: Allee Campbell on 5th Region All-Tournament Team

The Adair County High School Lady Indians Varsity Basketball team finished their season at 17-13, the best record for the program since the 2015-2016 season. CM staff writer Trey Stephens says, "This year was hopefully just the beginning of the rise up the 5th Region ladder for Adair County Lady Indians Basketball."

Among the returning stars on the Lady Indians is Freshman Allee Campbell (above), who was named to the 5th Region All Tournament Team thanks to her performance in their tournament game against the Lady Tigers.

Abrie Meadows excelling in grades and in leadership

Meet Abrie Meadows, the Campbellsville Independent Schools 2024-2025 Future Farmers of America (FFA) President. She was the 2023-2024 Campbellsville Independent FFA Chaplain.

She is on track to graduate in three years from High School with a 3.7 GPA while having held a long list of extra curricular activities including those listed in the story that accompanies this picture of her.

It's ACHS Indians Week in Columbia, Adair County, KY

The week of March 24-28, 2025 has been proclaimed as Adair County High School Boys Basketball Week in Columbia by proclamation issued by Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots. There will be an escort parade today at 2pmCT as the team heads to Lexington for preparation for Wednesday's Sweet Sixteen game. Mayor Hoots, center, is joined for this picture at the proclamation signing by ACHS Coach Deron Breeze, at right; Athletic Director Tyler Maskill, at left; and the ACHS Boys Basketball Team.

They will answer the call of service by providing critical communication support to Kentuckians and law enforcement agencies.

Robert writes, "The purple deadnettle was on display across many of the fields in Southcentral Kentucky this past weekend. While a lot of it is photographable...the surroundings and composing a shot is not always agreeable or approachable. This one provided all the elements I search for; color, lines, and a subject that locks and brings everything together in a harmonious and balanced way: the 3 Trees!"
