Boot Camp prepares LWU nursing students for their calling

One of the three groups of Lindsey Wilson University nursing boot camp students are joined by faculty after receiving their nursing patches, the first Lindsey Wilson University nursing patches, on Tuesday morning in the Dr. Robert and Carol Goodin Nursing & Counseling Center. Lindsey Wilson's new nursing cohort has 27 members, one of the largest the university has admitted.

Hall of Fame 2025: The 1995 Boys Basketball Team

The Brown and Brown Adair County Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will include the 1995 ACHS Indians Boys Basketball Team. In a post on social media, Adair County Athletics said of the team, "The 1995 Indians ended the 40-year wait and reestablished Adair County as a basketball force... Their grit and togetherness brought home Adair County's first regional title since 1955, igniting a new era of pride and excitement for Indians basketball."

The 1995 ACHS Indians Boys Basketball Team: Mgr. Wes Stephens, Jacob Feese, Adam Rogers, Tim Hardwick, Toby Curry, Mark Graham, Craig Feese, Mike Compton, and Ronnie Luttrell; (back) Coach Keith Young, Marcus Caldwell, Chad Bell, Rodney Ford, B.J. Adair County Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025

ACHS Florticulture winners at State Fair

2025 Kentucky State Fair winners: Kayla Allen, Breanna Foster, Emma Dorman, and Katherine Lemon (not listed in order) received the 9th place ribbon for the Florticulture contest. "Floriculture" is the cultivation of flowering and ornamental plants, primarily for gardens and the floral industry.
