Lindsey Wilson University Chaplain the Rev. Tyler Brumfield said he wants the weekly chapel service will give people "an opportunity to check in." Chapel, which is open to the public, is held at 10:45amCT every Wednesday during the school in the university's historic John B. Begley Chapel.

Triplets stopped by during the holiday weekend

These young triplets learned the path from Jamestown Street up Town Creek to Hurt Street from their mother but she wasn't with them on this visit. They found mostly crunchy grass as the drought continues.

Former AC Sheriff on first day of school as SRO

Amy Brockman shared this picture of her husband, former Adair Sheriff Josh Brockman, writing, "They grow up so fast. Josh's first day back at school for the Casey County Elementary Schools as their resource officer. I'm hoping the administration and teachers can keep him straight. He will be at Walnut Hill Elementary School, Jones Park Elementary School, and Liberty Elementary School. If he needs any money put on his lunch account just let me know. If he gets in trouble just call Sheriff Weddle until I can get there. I authorize Shannon McQuaide Neat to be on his sign out list." - Amy

Billy Joe writes, "On a recent trip to Louisville I was awed by the heavenly blue sky over the Cox's Creek Community. The countryside, muted green by drought, and the cloud-dotted heavens are separated by the rows of massive Heaven Hill Bourbon Distillery rick houses on the horizon."
