Helping get beef into the homes of food insecure

Nick Roy, Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources in the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service, pictured at left, led organization of the new beef-up-the-pantry partnership which will benefit both Adair County cattle producers and the Adair County Food Pantry. Vicky Pike, center, in front, owner of Miss Vicky's Pampered Angus Ranch in New Columbia, was the first to donate a cow to the new program.
