Young Readers will benefit from RDIF grant

Young readers at Adair County Elementary School. ACES has received a $40,000 Reading Diagnostic Intervention Fund grant from the Kentucky Department of Education. This grant will provide the school with funds to support teachers in implementing evidence-based instructional strategies that address the diverse needs of primary students who are reading at low levels and need accelerated learning.

Recent Lindsey Wilson College graduate Kylie Jackson

In her senior thesis, Kylie Jackson, who graduated from Lindsey Wilson in December with a bachelor of arts degree in English, connected Swift's song "The Albatross" from her 2024 double-album, The Tortured Poets Department, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner," first published in 1798.
