New speech therapy for kids locates in Columbia

Above & Beyond Therapy Center brought the staff together Wednesday, August 27, 2025 for its quarterly meeting. The new ABA therapy, speech therapy for kids, center is located in the Community Medical Services building on Bomar Heights in Columbia. The Adair County Lady Indians preparing to take on the Campbellsville Lady Eagles (0-6) on the road on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The Lady Indians won it in straight sets over Campbellsville, 25-21, 25-7, 25-18, improving to 5-0 on the season!

Sunday Afternoon Baptism

Roldcat writes, "After Sunday morning services were taken in, the church congregation convened on Sam Coffey Hole along Russell Creek in Adair County to witness the baptism of Harold Hetzler. Performing the baptism was Leonard Pierce and support was given by Jared Haroll. It was an awesome day for all those that attended. Although the water was a bit chilly, luckily, the air temperature didn't cool down until Monday morning."

Hospital tax report includes timeline for completion
