Eating colorful at Clifty Creek Farm
2025-08-06 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Donna Rieder. Donna writes, "It’s fun and delicious eating colorful - while my fresh garden produce might not look as perfect as that in the grocery, I'm content knowing it's grown 100% without chemicals, and it tastes way better than store-bought!"

Taylor Morrison is the 2025 Educator of the Year
2025-08-06 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Stacey Biggs. Taylor Morrison, fourth from left, was voted this year's Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year from among the nominees. She knew very early, even as a child, that she wanted to teach. She started quite young by having her little child's chalkboard set up, lot of books and crayons and pencils and, of course, her parents, as her students. Taylor's dream of teaching was fulfilled in 2013 when she began her teaching career as a first grade teacher at Adair County Primary Center.
Seeing students grow, making learning fun and letting them know they are loved are what she believes in and what she shows her students every day. She is now teaching second grade at Adair County Primary Center and living her dream every day while she helps her students on their path to fulfilling theirs. -- From introductions by Ellen Zornes, Executive Director, Chamber of Commerce
