Tina Thomas voted 2025 Business/Professional Woman

2025-08-06 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Stacey Biggs.
Tina Cook Thomas, center, was voted this year's Chamber of Commerce Business/Professional Woman of the Year. A strong work ethic, learned from an early age, and knowing the value of owning your own business, have been guiding principles.

Her Russell Building on the Square (under renovation) and the shop next door, offer unique retail items. Named Old Columbia, in reference to the historic location and buildings, she offers local items as well as KY Proud items. Tina has become a mentor to others trying to make it in retail business and truly believes it is possible to get great, quality items right here at home. -- From introductions by Ellen Zornes, Executive Director, Chamber of Commerce
