Happy 98th to birthday girl Venie Allene Moss Coffey! Her son Phillip Coffey writes, "Mom is 98 today. She is a very caring person to all and a splendid role model. ’Don’t worry about the trivial.’ Recently I was at her house, opened a cabinet door, a box of crackers fell to the floor. She laughed and said,"If I break a plate, I just say I won’t have to wash that one anymore.”
Venie Allene Moss Coffey was born in Adair County in the Keltner community near Adams Creek. She is the last surviving member of ten children and today resides in Greensburg,Kentucky. She is the daughter of John Marshall and Allie Wood Lee Moss and has four children. Comments | Permalink
