Billy Joe writes, "Yes, I know that we call them Terrapins but in reality this old land reptile is an Eastern Box Turtle. In reality, Terrapins are aquatic by nature and in all my years and many hundreds of encounters with these beautiful animals, I have never seen one in the water. This Ol' Slow-Poke seems to have had a bit of damage from a predator, or maybe a piece of farm equipment, etc." Comments | Permalink
