Robert writes, "Decades have elapsed since we last visited the 'Smokies'. A nice National Park to visit for a couple of days...with the added benefit of being not too far away. Holding the number one spot as the most visited National Park, crowding and parking is something that should be taken into consideration and to be expected.
A five dollar a day parking fee is new this year for the Park.
