A wee tidbit of Bank of Columbia history

JIM writes, "This notice appeared in the May 7, 1866 edition of The Louisville Daily Journal (one of the forerunners of the Courier-Journal). The notice reads:
IN ORDER TO A SPEEDY ORGANIZATION OF the Deposit Bank of Columbia, Kentucky, there will be an election of Directors and other officers of said Bank at the law office of Garnett & Baker, in said town, on the 14th day of May, 1866. The stockholders in said Bank, and all others interested, will please attend.
