New local author writes about Kentucky’s Green River

Author Richard Hines, who co-authored Images of America with the late Dean Rowe, now has a new book, Images of America Kentucky’s Green River. It is available at the Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce office located on the square in Edmonton. Named for Revolutionary general Nathanael Greene, Kentucky's Green River begins a 384-mile journey at its source near Kings Mountain in Lincoln County, flowing through the Pennyroyal and Western Coal Field regions until its confluence with the Ohio River in Henderson County.
