Not threatened by weekend Crappie tournament

All the Crappie in Green River lake were probably hiding from fishing tournament participants this weekend. The less desirable Carp, on the other hand, not threatened by anglers, did what they always do, gathering by the machine where humans buy food and drop it in the water. They hover near the surface with mouths open. Occasionally when there’s no more food, they’ll nibble on a foot dangling in the water from the dock, or on a duck's foot paddling nearby, making them scatter. Comments | Permalink
