Happy ending to a special call for help

No horsin' around when it comes to a pony on the run! Tuesday afternoon Trooper Roark and Trooper Lunz received a call of a horse on the parkway in Adair County. Upon arriving in the area, they located the pony in the travel portion of the roadway. The Troopers were able to get the pony out of the road and wrangle it up to safety. A local farmer with some feed assisted the Troopers in this task. This is not normally thought of as a duty of a Trooper however it happens more often than you might think. Comments | Permalink
