Kentucky Color: Spring Heading North

Billy Joe writes, "I took this picture about a half mile from the Gulf of Mexico in Gulf Breeze, Alabama, on Friday. On our way home on Saturday, Redbud was putting on a quite a show all the way up I-65 to Hartselle, Alabama, but nary a bloom after that.
During my 20 plus years of flying fire patrol across the Great Wooded South I found that the Redbud would flower 3 to 5 days on the Tennessee/Kentucky border before flowering in Columbia and Campbellsville, depending upon the weather of course.
