Columbian Theater nearing a March 2023 opening

Doug Beard shared this photograph to describe progress on the renovation of the Columbian Theatre during the monthly meeting of the Adair County Arts Council. Beard said it is possible the theatre could be open in March. The venue will feature an expanded stage, new sound system, epoxy-coated floor, and steam-cleaned seats.
