JIM writes, "The December 21, 1910 Adair County News ran only two Christmas ads, one for Russell & Murrell, then still ensconced on the entry corner of Burkesville Street and the Square, the other, from direct competitor W.L. Walker, located about midway between the exit corner of Burkesville Street and the west corner of the square. Each ad occupied nearly half a page, Walker's on page four, Russell & Murrell's on page five." Comments | Permalink
