Members of the 4-H Garden Club pause for a selfie during their 2026 service project to beautify the grounds of the Adair County Public Library. Master Gardener Veronica Arnold says of the youth participating in the Garden Club so far this year, "They have big plans! These kids want to build a bigger, seasonal garden, and give away the produce to the food bank or possibly sell at the farmers market. I am trying to recruit more gardeners and find a plot of land for them to cultivate."
