Travel: Saying Goodbye To Washington

Robert writes, "I thought it might be fitting to end this travel series with one last image of Mount Rainier in its entirety. We were thankful to have visited this area when the visibility was favorable for viewing 'the mountain'. The summer months are when you're more likely to see the mountain, but the downside is it's also fire season. Some of the park was closed for that very reason, but what we did get to explore was beautiful. I would personally rate this park very highly, and if you can include Olympic National Park in the same trip...it's a win-win!
The lake in the photo is Reflection Lake. At the time of our arrival, the wind picked up a little so the perfect 'stillness' of the lake wasn't going to happen; that perfect mirror image of the mountain on the water wasn't to be. However, the lake, blue skies, mountain with some wildflowers in bloom still produced a beautiful scene!"
